Biography

Amr Abdel-Dayem received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Automatic Control Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1993.  He received his M.Sc. degree in Intelligent Control Systems from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Alexandria, Egypt in 2001.  Besides his research activities, Amr has gained a rich experience in the computer systems development, while working in the computer industry during the period from 1993 till 2002.

Amr obtained his Ph.D. from the Computer Science Department at the University of Western Ontario in 2007.

Since January 2008, Amr is a faculty member with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Laurentian University.

Amr has been a member of the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) since 2011.
