As a workplace and labour studies student, you will learn to improve the working world through teaching, research, and engaged in community outreach. Workplace and Labour Studies seek to make Canada and the Sudbury community better by preparing students for jobs in leadership and careers that improve people's working lives.  

Become a leader in community engagement, and partner with workplaces, the labour movement, and community organizations to conduct local research and engage in public policy debates.

Third and fourth year work placements (practicums) offer students a combined 300 hours of real-world work experiences, and provides graduates with a variety of placement opportunities that open pathways to future careers.
